As a Therapist, nothing compares to helping my clients find meaning during their most difficult times. With the many challenges that life throws us, my goal is to help you positively navigate through these challenges, come out on top, and LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!
Over the course of my career, I have strived to obtain a diverse background, in order to be able to help the many needs of my varying clients. My background includes working in residential treatment facilities, psychiatric hospitals, correctional settings, hospitals, as well as private practice. Through these various avenues, I have been provided services such as direct care, case management, individual, group and family counseling, as well as psychiatric assessments. Through various therapeutic approaches, I work with my clients to help them heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I truly believe that all of my clients have the power to change within, which is why I utilize a collaborative approach. My primary treatment modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. I proudly hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana., as well as a Master's of Arts degree in Counseling from Prairie View A & M University.
I specifically provide services for adults 18+ who struggle with: anxiety, depression, grief/loss, women's issues, life transitions, and stress management. I am specifically passionate about helping millennial women of color to ELEVATE!
I may NOT be the best fit if you are looking for a therapist that: -treats trauma or substance abuse, provides ESA letters, or completes FMLA/disability paperwork
In my free time, I love to spend time with my children, travel (anywhere there's a beach), and just enjoy life!
